New Braunfels, March 2016

New Braunfels holds three of the biggest tourist destinations in the state of Texas; naturally I hit all of them! First there was Schlitterbaun, America's favorite waterpark. Schlitterbaun was definitely the biggest waterpark I had ever seen before. There were people of all ages running around just taking it all in. Next was Historic Gruene, and also my favorite part of New Braunfels. Lots of people have heard of Gruene Hall, Texas' oldest dance hall- located right in the heart of Gruene. The food here was to die for and I found the coolest shops with the most unique Texas style gifts! The final stop in New Braunfels were the Natural Bridge caverns. Not going to lie here- this place was pretty scary, but so cool! Tour guides take you 180 feet below ground to explore the natural formations that erosion has created. Overall, New Braunfels opened my eyes to lots of new things and it's somewhere I'd love to go back to.
