Dallas, December 2015

For someone who had never been to Texas before, Dallas was definitely the right place to start! The city of Dallas is home to some of the coolest and most unique people I had ever met. What makes Dallas different than any other city was its diversity of districts. No matter what your taste, Dallas has a district for it- art, music, high end, country, and funky. However, it took just a ten minute ride out of the city center to find my favorite part of Dallas. The Truck Yard. It was like walking into a backyard summer BBQ. Old trucks and RV's had been turned into food trucks, live music played in the background, and lights were strung through the trees to make the perfect scene. It is definitely on my list to revisit to the Truck Yard in the near future!
